A familiar face in a brand new place helps me to remember where home really is. I find home in the people I’ve planted seeds of myself into and have come to find signs of growth where I’ve left them. Meaning pieces of me found their presence suitable for growth. Safe enough for expansion. They told me that my needs for existence were never too much, simply reasonable expectations of life. I flourish in these conditions as I now feel capable of stretching and reaching for the sky. For my dreams. For belonging in love and life. Here I feel at home in the gentle coexistence of humanity. -KN
