I Built A Panic Room In My Imagination

I often sit with my own thoughts and wonder what good this is really doing.
I have a habit of creating mountains out of mole hills and fairy dust out of fallen ash.

I can create entire worlds so far removed from this currently reality,
and I feel so much safer there.

Delusions of separateness

An us versus them mentality

Human race v. world

Creates disharmony within our collective experience.

A manipulation tactic brainwashing us to believe that reaching the top of the social pyramid transcends any other social responsibility we might hold.
Even if our own demise is the price waiting for us at the finish line for the race to the top.

Do you feel the weight of that?
I mean come on, I can’t be the only one struggling to find air on this side of the world.
Please tell me that your head is spinning, too.
Yearning for the buoyancy of the clouds to keep you afloat.
Disconnecting from your own body because it’s the only thing we can think to do while surviving in this existential reality.

Constantly living in an unregulated state,
Fueled by the innate awareness of our approaching end.

And what do we do to find relief?

Drugs

Sex

Eat

Spend

Numb

This is what we have decided life is worth living for,
that Earth is worth destroying for.

Our ancestors lived in a world that flourished in abundance, not scoured in scarcity.
Whatever the world offered gave reason to celebrate because it made their lives richer,
No concept of material wealth.
My heart breaks for the way things came to be this way today.
I long for the days when we weren’t being manipulated into believing that we had to get through this life on our own.
The leaver mentality making room for harmony in the seams of the world.
Later bulldozed by the financial goldmine of taking,
of dominating.
Because, darling, the word dominate and destroy come hand in hand.
Meaning we can only dominate this world by destroying it first,

And us along with it.

Are you ready to see what the end looks like?
Because your choice to look the other way is telling me otherwise…
